I just called the Navy to apply to be a Reserve Naval Aviator, got my fingers crossed.

I feel like I have been improving myself my whole life to be ready for anything, but we are all flawed in some ways, time I let this childish nightmare go away. 

If your out there Gary, I give faith to karma that you will meet your true reaper one day, and I let all the corrupt stuff you did to my family and my mind go. I really can't believe it took me this long to let this hate go, but it's funny what real energy and positive reinforcement can accomplish. I'm just glad I never really gave into the negative!

Merry X-mas Loathing

Merry Christmas to all fellow bloggers. I find myself back at home blessed to be back with my family and see old friends once again back in Alabama. I'm happy really, but a part of me is sad, sad because I see situations that haven't changed, sad because progress has stopped, sad because people call me a dick, when i'm only being myself, sad because I want to flee.

Sam Strick started Djing in Afghanistan while serving a deployment in the Army. He traveled to the Club Mecca, Ibiza, Spain in the summer of 08’ for an R&R and had a life changing experience. When he returned to Afghanistan he started a weekly house night called Ibiza Nights while still in a war zone. Sam Strick let the decks consumed him and tried to dedicate every free second he had to mixing and researching music genres to become a better artist. Sam Strick got out of the army in 09’ and moved to Orlando, Florida to start DJ and producing while attending college. 

He’s played in the greater Orlando area for half a decade and played at venues such as Firestone, Sky 60, Suite B, Crooked Bayou, and the Peacock Room. He played classical instruments such as the chello and upright bass in his younger years, which gave him an acute ear for mixing and composing music. Now, he's taking his journey to the keyboard and plans to release his first EP in 2013 in the deep house genre.

Sam Strick commented, “I really feel that I can express myself with deep house. I like the experimental and dark side of it, which has always influenced my listening sound since a boy, like Pink Floyd and the Doors. I also love deep house because it has that sexy side that appeals to women. ”

His performances range from deep house, tech house, techno, and experimental. In 2014 Sam Strick plans to start an Independent Label called Teep Records. Look out for this driven artist to come up quickly in the Underground Scene we call House.

SAD NEWS: The Curry Ford Pub is closing this week. We will be moving the Deep Diving event to somewhere else very soon. 
That's the problem with this town you can't keep anything going because every place closes before you can build something repeatable. I know since I have been in Orlando I have seen at least 20 places close with my own two eyes. 

So many people have agreed with me on this one, now I want to know what the wold think. In the 90's we had Grunge music that was really popular for young kids to vent their frustrations and anger to. Now there isn't any popular form of music out there doing that in the 2000, that's why I think we have Dub-Step, because it is the new form of music to vent to. I'm not saying everything is black and white hear either, every form of music has many sub-genres.

Last night i killed it with my mixing, Just saying. Everyone should come out next week to hear some awesome Deep House. One Love

This thing we call house is so fickle sometimes i'm not truly sure i know myself. I just feel like saying fuck a thousand times over. Sorry for being negative, but sometimes you just half to get it out. I don't know if anything is working, but I will not surrender or give up.
